DJ: Dust'n Dreamz Off Entertainment
Queens, NY

I grew up in Queens, New York.  As a teenager I was also interested in
becoming a DJ.  I can remember going to my cousin's house to play on his

turntables.  We use to always go to the city to buy records because there wasn't

any mp3 files back in the days.  I can also remember going to the park where the

local DJ (DJ Spade who is now a successful music producer in Virginia) would

show his skills.  His skills and talents fascinated me and hopes to one day

become a DJ.

I joined the Army and my first overseas assignment I got a DJ gig at a

local club where I display my talent.  I played there for over 3 years.  When I

returned from overseas I starting doing office parties, Sweet Sixteen parties,

weddings and playing a local nightclubs.

I also attended the world’s famous Scratch DJ Academy in NYC where I

had to pleasure of being mentored by TJ (Jam Master Jay’s son) and other great

DJs. I’ve had several Internet shows, most recently with DTF Radio voted as

2012 and 2013 “Best Internet Radio Station” located in Brooklyn, NY. Internet

radio shows is definitely different because you are not playing in front of a live

crowd, which becomes challenging at times. I currently have an Internet Radio

Show on Hotline Radio where I broadcast 4 times a week and I also manage a

young independent Hip Hop artist name K Ben Rose.

There are so many DJs out there but a few that inspired me. I look up to

DJs like Grandmaster Flash, DJ Jazzy Jeff, Jam Master Jay, DJ Qbert, Kid Capri

and DJ Scratch. Its not all about making money but its about making the crowd

happy and see them having a good time.
